What was the highlight of Boutique Hotel Spa Calma Blanca
Stunning retreat overlooking charming Cadaques.
Breakfast was delightful, overlooking their beautiful courtyard. It was a large spread of breads, croissants, homemade jams and butters, and fresh meats and eggs cooked to order. And it is available at anytime in the morning, at your leisure. The staff makes you feel at home - anything you need, they are there to provide. Whether it be concierge service, spa service (my wife is pregnant and, while they did not have a prenatal-trained masseuse on staff, they arranged for a masseuse trained in prenatal massage from town to come to the hotel and provide that service). The location was great - it is right by the Dali House and just 8 - 10 minutes to Cadaques central square. The space is absolutely gorgeous - stunning decor. And the amenities are stellar.
We loved our experience at Calma Blanca. It certainly is on the pricey side, but that is for what basically feels like an almost private retreat. Our room had a loft which opened up onto a rooftop terrace - both which were beautiful (the Loft had a childs bed as well as a full sized lounge chair). If I were to quibble, instead of the ladder it would be great if they could put in something that is more comfortable to climb up to the loft / terrace (the ladder is a bit painful on the feet - though better with shoes - and if it were possible to put something with small steps, it would make that area more usable). That being said, we both still went up multiple times over 3 days.

Peaceful, relaxing, beautiful views
What a lovely, peaceful, and relaxing place to stay. The junior suite with outside jacuzzi and wonderful views far exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed a filling breakfast and the staff was extremely helpful. We definitely plan to come back and stay longer.
